Balbix expands cybersecurity offerings with three AI-powered tools on AWS Marketplace
Cybersecurity posture firm Balbix Inc. today announced three new generative artificial intelligence products available on Amazon Web Services Inc.’s Marketplace that allow organizations to streamline deployment, assess risks and reduce exposure through AI-powered insights and tools.
The new offerings are BIX, a cybersecurity AI assistant with real-time risk notifications and enhanced visual insights; Cyber Risk Assessments, a onetime AI-powered evaluation for identifying critical vulnerabilities; and D3, a continuous threat and exposure management platform.
The generative AI offerings are part of a collaboration between Nvidia Corp. and Balbix that employs Nvidia’s AI technologies, including graphics processing units, Triton Inference Server and TensorRT-LLM, to deliver high-performance, scalable solutions. The Nvidia tech allows Balbix to process vast amounts of data to provide security teams with real-time insights into vulnerabilities and threat landscapes.
BIX is an AI-powered cybersecurity assistant that was first launched earlier this year and is designed to streamline risk assessment and management. With the AWS Marketplace launch, BIX has received updates, including real-time push notifications, dynamic visualizations like charts and graphs and enhanced AI capabilities that make it easier for security teams to monitor and communicate risk insights effectively.
It also automates tasks such as creating projects and tickets while providing actionable insights in real time. Built on Nvidia’s AI platform, BIX leverages tools like Triton Inference Server to deliver low-latency, scalable performance to deliver faster and more informed decision-making.
Cyber Risk Assessment, meanwhile, offers AI-powered evaluations that help organizations identify their most critical vulnerabilities and exposures. The assessments offer actionable insights into an organization’s attack surface, enabling quick, informed decisions without a long-term commitment, Balbix said.
The CRA can be completed within days at a fraction of the cost of traditional methods. The service leverages Balbix’s AI capabilities to allow organizations to gain a comprehensive view of their cyber risk profile to make it easier to prioritize mitigation efforts and strengthen their security posture.
Finally, D3 is a continuous threat and exposure management platform. It unifies assets, applications, users and controls into a single platform to enable organizations to monitor and reduce cyber risk across hybrid cloud environments. The service helps security teams cut the mean time to resolution for critical exposures from the industry average of over 50 days to as little as two days.
D3 is powered by Nvidia AI technologies and provides scalable and actionable insights to address vulnerabilities. The service offers seamless deployment on AWS, allowing organizations to maintain a continuous and unified approach to managing risks while also strengthening their overall cybersecurity posture.
“Making these new Balbix SKUs available in AWS Marketplace marks a significant milestone in making cyber risk management simpler for all organizations,” said Chief Executive Gaurav Banga. “We’re excited to help security leaders gain deeper insights into their risk landscape and provide the tools they need to protect their business.”
