Boomi and Accenture drive enterprise AI and integration to underpin long-term innovation

With the vision of enterprise AI gradually crystallizing, it has become clear that its future will depend on large-scale collaboration, AI-powered integration and cross-company integrations. Boomi LP and Accenture PLC have enjoyed a long-term partnership that continues to evolve alongside the digital landscape.

Boomi and Accenture team up to deliver AI-powered integration, transforming enterprise agility, automation, and data connectivity.

Accenture’s Atif Khan discusses AI for stack simplification with theCUBE.

As AI reshapes software development, this partnership aims to create more agile, intelligent systems that align with changing business demands.

“From a trends perspective, software development has changed quite a bit over the years,” said Atif Khan (pictured, left), principal director at Accenture. “It was more deterministic and it has changed a little bit over time, and we are looking forward to working with them on the AI front to see what the possibilities are and how we can change the client paradigm and how we can create value for them.”

Khan and Dan McAllister (right), senior vice president for global alliances and channels at Boomi,  spoke with theCUBE’s Savannah Peterson and Paul Nashawaty at Boomi World, during an exclusive broadcast on theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio. They discussed partnerships, AI-powered integration and the pressing need for trust, data governance and simplified innovation. (* Disclosure below.)

AI-powered integration sits at the partnership’s core

Accenture’s role in the partnership involves extending its cross-industry expertise to unlock Boomi’s integration and automation capabilities across complex enterprise environments. Modern organizations often rely on a fragmented multitude of tools to handle integrations. Boomi and Accenture are working to reduce this complexity by helping clients consolidate legacy code and streamline operations onto unified platforms.

“There are few partners out there that can give that breadth of knowledge to take advantage of the integration capabilities that we have, and the automation capabilities we have, and the AI governance capabilities,” McAllister said. “It’s a perfect marriage from our standpoint, and we try to contribute to the overall customer value that Accenture provides.”

AI’s effectiveness is only as strong as the data behind it. Poor data quality, lack of governance and bias are preventing many proof-of-concepts from reaching production — and Boomi and Accenture aim to mitigate this shortfall. By simplifying tech stacks, companies can close the talent gap by hiring generalists and accelerating digital transformation more efficiently.
