Dell has extended its popular award winning ProSupport service to include non-Dell systems and hardware devices in Europe. The company said European customers will now get a standardized provision offering with a single source of service for multi-vendor support. HP, IBM, Lenovo and Acer are the non-Dell systems that will get benefited under this partnership.
As a result, the single point of contact for all hardware support needs from Dell is now available across Europe using HP, IBM, Lenovo and Acer products. Customers can now look to Dell to manage systems that set out to reduce the costs of maintaining and managing various systems, contracts and warranties.
Through its managed ProSupport service Dell offers round the clock phone support, escalation management and collaborative support. The company is already providing multi-vendor ProSupport hardware service in North America and is planning to extend the service into Latin America and Asia in near future.

As Dell expands its hardware and software services, it gains more support for its emerging ecosystem. Dataram Corporation has chosen Dell to manufacture, distribute, and provide support for its XcelaSAN storage acceleration appliance. As per the agreement, Dell will start supporting Dataram’s hardware and storage systems starting November this year.
Dataram is one of the leaders in providing storage products, computer memory and services. The company’s XcelaSAN storage acceleration appliance can boost I/O performance up to 30 percent and can be used on mid-range SANs.
