Businesses are seeing a new type of applicant: information models trained on a company’s unique terminology and business practices.
This is Aible Inc.’s area of expertise. The business intelligence platform has introduced artificial intelligence agents that can analyze a business’s data and deliver corresponding insights, with the goal of making Aible’s clients “AI first.”
Aible’s Vijay Anand discusses what it means to be “AI first.”
“With AI in the mix, you are analyzing millions of patterns … by allowing AI to ask the relevant questions on your behalf,” said Vijay Anand (pictured), chief marketing officer of Aible. “You’re not even coming with that bias. You’re letting AI do the role of asking the relevant questions, understanding what’s actually impacting your business.”
Anand spoke with theCUBE’s Paul Gillin at the SHI Fall Summit, during an exclusive broadcast on theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio. They discussed Aible’s approach to deterministic AI in conjunction with it’s membership in Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co.’s Unleash AI program and how the field of business intelligence is changing. To avoid hallucinations, Aible uses information models that deliver deterministic answers based on factual information. The models analyze all of a business’s data to identify patterns and advise decisions based on those insights, Anand explained.
“There isn’t a question about hallucination because everything is factual or deterministic in nature,” he said. “With Aible, we use something called blue is true. Anything that’s highlighted blue, you can be very confident that it is factually verified responses and something that’s not highlighted blue, you’ll know that there isn’t a backbone that has been verified.”
The idea behind Aible’s agents is to train them on a business’ specific terminology, so that they can speak the language of that industry. An example might be the term “jitter” in the Telco business. One of the best parts, according to Anand, is that the model can be trained and run entirely inside the customer’s environment.
“Whether it’s the cloud or their edge devices … data never leaves their control,” he said. “Aible is performing the analysis within that environment and the data never leaves it. It’s instilling a lot of confidence from a data privacy, data residency and security standpoint.”
