Mayank Agarwal, VP at Infosys, talks to theCUBE about Project QuiltWorks and CrowdStrike's Falcon platform at Fal.Con 2026. AI

Infosys brings enterprise context to CrowdStrike’s AI security push

No single vendor can keep pace with vulnerabilities that frontier AI models can now find by the millions in a single scan. That reality is pushing the industry toward coalition-style partnerships like Project QuiltWorks, pairing a security platform’s detection power with the enterprise context that only a systems integrator, embedded inside a customer’s business for years, can supply.

Mayank Agarwal (pictured), vice president and head of cybersecurity Americas at Infosys Ltd., has spent 21 years at the company, most of it helping enterprise clients defend their brands and operations. Infosys’s partnership with CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. has deepened this year through Project QuiltWorks, the industry coalition CrowdStrike built to assess and remediate AI-discovered vulnerabilities at scale, Agarwal noted.

“There are three things that have truly changed with AI, and I call it the three Vs,” Agarwal said. “The velocity, the volume and the vulnerabilities. It was earlier hours, now minutes, sometimes even seconds.”

Agarwal spoke with theCUBE’s Dave Vellante and Rebecca Knight at Fal.Con, during an exclusive broadcast on theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio. They discussed how Infosys and CrowdStrike work together through Project QuiltWorks and what changes when AI compresses the time between a vulnerability’s discovery and its exploitation. How Project QuiltWorks brings enterprise context to Falcon

Infosys was one of the founding partners of Project QuiltWorks, contributing the customer and enterprise context that CrowdStrike’s technology alone can’t supply, Agarwal said. The coalition has since grown to include a wider set of technology and services partners, and now serves as the onboarding path for newer CrowdStrike offerings such as SafeMind, the red team and blue team models the company introduced at Fal.Con.

“Cybersecurity had this whole nail and sledgehammer problem. We had too many nails that we were trying to put sledgehammers to,” Agarwal said. “When adversaries look at it, they don’t look at the nails. They look at the entire surface, and the space between the two nails is where they meander through.”

Whether a customer is adopting Falcon for the first time, expanding an existing deployment or working through a problem the platform hasn’t solved yet, that same gap-focused thinking shapes how Infosys structures its engagements, Agarwal noted.

“The core principles of cybersecurity still remain the same,” Agarwal said. “Zero trust, and what we called the CIA triad back when we started: confidentiality, integrity, availability. Those three things applied to humans. They still apply to agents.”
