Clearspring’s HR Move to Bring Competitive, Profitable Audience
Clearsping, a top network for publisher tools and promotions through the AddThis service, announced the promotion of Peggy Fry as Chief Revenue Officer. This position update came after Peggy’s commitment played in an integral role in the company’s entrance into the real-time bidding audience marketplace, with the recent launch of Audience Platform.
The real aims behind Peggy’s new position will target the development of top DSPs and Ad Exchanges. Peggy joined Clearspring in 2007 from Netflix where she is credited with launching the company’s advertising strategy for both their offline and online businesses. Prior to that Peggy was a VP of Sales at AOL. Linking back to Peggy’s experience, Hooman Radfar, Clearspring CEO, commented:
“Peggy has played an integral role in driving our revenue strategy. We’re incredibly proud of what she has accomplished to date and very excited about what she will do moving forward in her new role. The energy and momentum from advertisers and agencies around the real-time bidding audience marketplace reminds me of the excitement in 1997 and 1998 at AOL when the online display business truly began to skyrocket. We are at an early stage right now and the future is very bright.”
In terms of Clearspring’s latest development, the company has started to focus its social sharing tool AddThis as an intent-oriented data service for storing the searching keys and the internet users’ behaviour. This module will also facilitate advertisers to address to specific categories of audience and will keep an improved track of the users’ interests and quantitative parameters.
Working on the enhancement of targeting and segmentation of the online audience, Clearspring has also turned on during the middle of 2010 the Audience Platform, which was designed to bring large populations of relevant users grace to a very precise method of segmenting them. The Analytics tool provides demographic metrics among various personal information gathered from social sharing networks.
