mSpot Comes to Google TV

Cloud entertainment provider mSpot today announced its music and video streaming services are coming to Google TV. The cross-platform cloud-based mSpot is available via just about every device, which is one of the main reasons behind its advance to date.

“mSpot Inc., the leading cloud entertainment provider, today launches its music and movie services on Google TV. mSpot Movies service instantly streams full-length movie rentals across connected devices, enabling movie fans to switch seamlessly between devices as they pick up and leave off watching a movie.”

mSpot enables to sync individual accounts across Smartphones, PCs and now Google TV, showing just how attractive the cloud can be from an end-user perspective. In our previous coverage of the cloud entertainment provider, we mentioned how the mSpot app has been downloaded on Android an impressive 500,000 times.

Going back to Google TV, the Apple TV competitor’s final product launch has been delayed due to software improvements, which we discussed here. This comes after the release of 4 software updates which covered support for Netflix, DVD queue title adding via Google TV, personalized recommendations and a Dual View update.

In addition to stirring buzz, Google TV was able to get the attention – and protest – of Fox, ABC, CBS, NBC and most recently Viacom.
