Juniper Networks TCA Series Tool Extends their Mobile Services

Relentless updates are becoming synonymous to Juniper Networks. Fresh from yesterday’s announcement of joining the Eclipse Foundation to build up on its open software development and present its customers with a richer enhancement platform for applications to optimize their network assets and craft new revenue opportunities within reduced cost, complexity and time. Today, the company tries to expand its mobile portfolio with TCA Series Timing Appliance.

Senior Vice President of Juniper Networks Rami Rahim provided details on this development along with some forecasts saying, “As mobile backhaul networks transition to packet-based transport networks, providing reliable clock synchronization over these networks has become a critical requirement. The industry-leading technology assets from Brilliant Telecommunications will enable tighter integration in our mobile backhaul solution and extend our offerings to converged service providers, allowing them to deliver superior experience for multimedia applications which will dominate traffic in the future.”

Juniper Networks’ TCA Series Timing Appliance is based from the technology of their recent acquisition, Brilliant Communications. This mobile internet portfolio is engineered to provide carrier-class and time-sensitive network synchronization. The series is expected to deliver end-to-end timing and non-intrusive one-way supervising of setback and interruptions.

As we move closer to first quarter’s endpoint, it’s nice to reminisce about Juniper Networks hefty contributions to the tech community. The strong sales of debut offering of Juniper Networks have readily scored billion-dollar mark and also signaled marked strength of the US market. Its competition with Cisco intensifies with Project Status and the introduction of the new networking system, QFabric. Luckily, they also became accidental beneficiaries of AT&T acquisition of T-Mobile via Junos Pulse app for iPhone—which is the premier product line of AT&T.

Known for prioritizing customers and partners’ experience, Juniper Networks’ three executives were named CRN Channel Chiefs for 2011. A feat that could really inspire the leadership team of the organization. Looks like we will be seeing loads of updates from Juniper in the next few glimpses.
