Data2Conf Kicking Off in a Week: Highlights

This year’s Data 2.0 conference is due one week from now, launching on Monday, April 4 at the Mission Bay Conference Center in San Francisco. The conference, hosted by midVentures, will focus on the rise of data accessibility throughout numerous areas including social, geo, government and advertising data – all of have been very active recently.

Data 2.0 will bring together speakers from several major companies including Google, NAVTEQ, and comScore as well as more than 50 other companies:

“Hear speakers from Google, NAVTEQ, and comScore alongside Jay Adelson, CEO of SimpleGeo; Gil Elbaz, CEO of Factual; Joe Lonsdale, co-founder of Palantir; and 50 other data companies at the full-day conference.”

The conference will feature a start-up pitch contest judged by Robert Scoble and five Silicon Valley VCs, as well as the $3 million Heritage Health Prize – the largest data challenge in the world . At least 6 companies will be launched new and enhanced products.
