A Quick Guide to CES 2013

The International CES 2013 show will be kicking off next week, from January 8-11, in Las Vegas, Nevada.  I’m sure a lot of tech enthusiasts will be glued to their computer screens, especially those who can’t attend the event, to get a glimpse of the latest gadgets, TVs or technologies, that companies have to offer.  See here for early expectations of what we’ll see at CES this year.

Keynotes & celeb appearances

For those who are fortunate enough to attend (you lucky bastards!), you’ll be delighted to hear keynotes from Qualcomm chairman and CEO Dr. Paul E. Jacobs, CEA president and CEO Gary Shapiro about the state of the industry, Panasonic president Kazuhiro Tsuga, Verizon Chairman and CEO Lowell McAdam, Samsung Electronics’ president of Device Solutions Business Dr. Stephen Woo and a lot more big shots in the industry.

A lot of celebrities are also in attendance starting with CES Celebrity Ambassador Felicia Day, Maroon 5, will.i.am, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Anthony Ryan Auld, LL COOL J, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, and a lot more.

Events & social media updates

Attendees are also welcome to attend CES events such as The Act: Official CES Opening Night Party, Gibson Guitar: Happy Hour & Jam Party, Ninja Innovation Launch, Mobile Apps Showdown and the Last Gadget Standing.  To see a full list of CES events, click here.

Mobile apps & video coverage

You can also download mobile apps for Android and iOS to help you get around the event with their interactive map, search the exhibitor directory, or create your show schedule.

You can also enjoy streaming video coverage here, and archives for the event at CES TV so you can catch up on keynotes, conference sessions and more.
