What to expect

During the event, theCUBE cohosts John Furrier, Stu Miniman, Brian Gracely and Jeff Frick will discuss AWS’ position in the cloud marketplace; its share of the Big Data arena; and whether Google, Microsoft and AWS are on a collision course with unique strategies that overlap in the market.

Other topics for discussion include whether price cuts for cloud services are upcoming, which new products to expect, and the latest innovations in the pipeline. theCUBE will also find out the latest on Aurora, a fully-managed, MySQL-compatible, relational database engine that was launched last year, as well as if and how AWS will take on enterprise applications by implementing databases that can handle bigger workloads through a true Database-as-a-Service.

Stay tuned for theCUBE’s coverage of Amazon re:Invent 2015 from October 6–8.
