When it comes to delivering open and accessible information, SaaS offers an efficient solution. That’s why Mo’mix Solutions, which works with state and local governments and higher education, designed one of the only cloud-based SaaS performance data management solutions.
“Government agencies and higher education would spend millions on legacy systems, but felt like their data was in a grand canyon,” said Mo’mix president Erin Latham, who spoke to Dave Vellante and George Gilbert, cohosts of theCUBE, from the SiliconANGLE Media team, during PentahoWorld 2015. “We realized that with Pentaho’s capabilities [a partner to Mo’mix], SaaS would allow us to deliver in a cost effective and accessible way.”
Mo’mix saw the need for accessible data. “We wanted to know that the information was going to change the dynamic of the services [a local government] provides,” she said.
In addition to its SaaS suite, Mo’mix offers cloud, ERP and budget software consulting services. The Center for Digital Government awarded Mo’mix the Best Fit Integrator Award in Collaboration and Long-Term Service. Although Mo’mix deserves most of the credit for its success, Latham added that “a lot of our ROI value is because of Pentaho.”
