Sony announces the “Bloggie” camera

image Sony showed off their new "Bloggie" device during their opening press conference at CES 2010 today. This silly-named device is clearly aimed at social media file sharing and the people who use sites like Myspace, Facebook,Youtube, etc. It shoots quality HD video and 5MP photos for about 200 bucks. The name is silly but it could be catchy I guess. At that price point where you have high quality video and easy and it’s fun to use, this could be a hit. It comes in a really neat range of attractive colors. Along with the Dash device, and 3D television offerings, these appeared to be the highlights of the brief conference.

Sony also announced the Bloggie is available now at the SonyStyle site.
