Entrepreneurs Vote on Best VCs – Powered By TheFunded.com

Saw this list at PEHub.com – worthy of publishing.

TheFunded.com put out a list of the top 50 most popular venture capitalists. It’s a good benchmark of which VCs are in the flow of deals and activity. In essence it’s the top 50 most engaging VCs in terms of popularity as voted on by entrepreneurs.

Some of my good friends are on there. Most notably Jon Callaghan of True Ventures who pioneered with Phil Black the notion of “friendly venture capital” – hey what a concept. Also Rich Levadov of Avalon Venture Partners who has been doing early stage for 1.5 decades and recently seed financed Zynga, and Mark Suster who is a contributor to SiliconAngle.com.

Here is my list from The Funded List of the VCs that I have met who are high quality.

Being popular is one thing which speaks to the integrity of VCs. Most VCs who screw over entrepreneurs are not popular. The rubber hits the road when we talk about exits. So come on folks lets talk “Exits”.

Show me popular AND with exits and that is the short list.
