6fusion raise $3million in First round of Funding
More investments trickle into cloud computing technologies, as start up 6fusion raises $3 million. This amount was raised in the 1st round of VC funding led by Intersouth Partners. The company intends to use the funds to extend it’s operations. It is expected that, there would by additions to the executive team. As part of this deal, 6fusion shall relocate to North Carolina and the Board of Directors shall have reserved seats for Intersouth.
Katrin Burt and Mitch Mumma of Intersouth will join 6fusion’s board of directors as part of the deal. Intersouth is also a partner of the Council for Entrepreneurial Development, a mentoring program of sorts for entrepreneurs in the Research Triangle.
The company said it will work out of Intersouth’s office as it finalizes the location of its new headquarters, which will be somewhere in the Research Triangle region of North Carolina.
Currently, 6fusion offers monitoring product for cloud computing, by the name of Work Allocation Cube – WAC. Let’s see what 6fusion comes up with, after this new development. We expect 6fusion to focus on innovative ways to introduce its cloud computing services to the enterprise, given the amount of comptition that’s beginning to crowd the space.
