SAP Opens Up the Mobility Design Center

Whether through mobile apps or device deployment and security, SAP is focused on providing enterprises and end users alike a seamless mobile experience. That’s why it has announced opening up the SAP Mobility Design Center, in order to help customers meet the growing need for individualized mobile solution. Further, SAP Mobility Design Center will enable companies to keep up with the consumerization of IT trend by conceptualizing, designing and rapidly building mobile solutions to better connect with employees and consumers.

This will be particularly working toward increasing agility amidst the developer community. As a one-stop shop for designing, developing and validating customer-specific mobile enterprise solutions, SAP Mobility Design Center will employ a team of user experience (UX) designers, architects and developers. This will not only save time for enterprises, but also increase their customer satisfaction. For example, when SAP Mobility Design Center designed and built an application for Sysco using the SAP mobile platform, it helps Sysco to manage and track its inventory, giving an expanded view into the items its customers need, and thus items it may want to offer in the future.

SAP Mobility Design Center will also become a key driver of SAP’s mobile business as it will help develop mission-critical mobile solutions that can transform how companies do business, and rapidly mobilize their business. But the most important aspect, here, is the agile development. At the SAP Mobility Design Center, the focus is on the end-user during the development process. It involves quick and agile customer feedback system that starts with collecting user experience data, translates it into envisioned solution, and uses it for end-user validation. This collaborative process ensures that end users adopt and enjoy the experience of working with the solution, and enjoy the same level of quality, scalability and security that companies expect of all SAP solutions.

Agile development has become critical for enterprises and the entire developer community. That’s why we are seeing lots of products advancing agile. Recently, we saw GreenHopper 6 coming up, the latest update to the much known GreenHopper that has been serving over 650,000 users worldwide and leading the charge for teams discovering and advancing agile pursuits. The latest version comes with several enhanced features and refinements that are believed to take Agile and team performance to new heights.
