Looking for Big Data spending & innovation: Beyond Hadoop
Wikibon Senior Analyst Jeff Kelly will be one of the presenters at this week’s event. Kelly guested on #CUBEConversations hosted by Stu Miniman and explained what this year’s theme, “Following the Big Data Money Trail,” means. According to Kelly, the event will be tracing where the Big Data funding is going and taking a look at investments and acquisitions. He also stated that because Hadoop and leading NoSQL vendors are very well capitalized, there’s a growing interest to look at fresh sectors and use cases where innovation, spending and investments are taking place.
