According to my sources, EMC is pushing four things around the new expanding VCE: 1) Scale and Leverage – around hybrid cloud; 2) Huge emphasis on converged to accelerate the notion of horizontally scalable products across their portfolio; 3) increased brand prominence of the VCE name – expect EMC to really drive and own VCE; and 4) #DELLEMC messaging and integration – look for leverage in the Dell supply chain coming to VCE.
