DADI+ Ltd. wants to use machine learning to help businesses more easily create personalized online experiences. To that end, the London-based company has just announced the general availability of the open source application programming interface for its platform.
The DADI platform is billed as a next-generation content management system aimed at businesses of all sizes, from small startups to giant enterprise departments, to manage user data on digital properties.
The DADI platform provides a collection of services that interact using user data as foundation for developing user experience across delivery platforms. The engine also provides microservices that businesses can use to build lightweight platforms for end-to-end data driven experiences.
“Businesses who put customer data at the heart of what they do have the potential to deliver what we call ‘data-driven experiences,’” said Christopher Mair, cofounder of DADI. “Data-driven experiences present users with content which is more likely to appeal to them, based on what is known about them individually. The more compelling it is, the better it will perform.”
DADI’s platform is already in use by some early adopters who have taken the services and used them to transform legacy systems into modern websites with superior user engagement.
One example is Haymarket Media group’s collaboration with DADI to rebuild “What Car?” at WhatCar.com (above), that provides a website for independent vehicle news and reviews. With DADI’s platform, “a new content store and management interface was developed [and] tailored to editorial workflow requirement” that allowed connectivity among desktop, tablet, mobile and future products.
Other collaborations include Bauer Media’s Empire magazine, Virgin Limited Edition luxury hotels and island retreats website and Monocle, a global magazine covering international politics and business.

As the beta continues, further elements of the DADI platform will become available including tracking, visualization, identity tracking and prediction.
The platform’s tracking capability will provide a real-time individual-level data pipeline and aggregation service built around the concept of events and actions—thus providing businesses a way to understand the historical use of its products. The platform will also plug into DADI Track, Google Analytics and many other third-party apps for visualization and dashboarding.
For visitors, identity management will enable businesses to provide unique experiences to users both known (registered) and anonymous with end-to-end customer relationship management.
Finally, the platform will also offer a scalable predictive analysis API using machine learning to aid businesses by providing insights into use cases for personalized presentation. Developers interested in the details of the platform can explore details on DADI’s website, visit the GitHub repository and read the documentation.
