What to expect at ‘IFS Unleashed’: Tune in to theCUBE Oct. 11

Manufacturing, energy, distribution, asset management and services are some arterial industries driving the world economy. During the recent pandemic, however, they were also some of the most heavily hit.

IFS AG, a global enterprise software solutions provider, is working to solve these industries’ digital-transformation pain points as it solidifies its position in the marketplace. Seventy-one percent of the company’s total revenues come from recurring sources.

“Our differentiation of empowering our customers to deliver amazing moments of service to their customers is compelling, but in the immediate term, the speed and extent of the value we can return to a customer in how they navigate the headwinds is key,” according to Darren Roos, chief executive officer of IFS.

On Oct. 11, theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio, will be live at “IFS Unleashed,” interviewing industry experts, company executives, and end users on topics such as innovations in industrial and financial systems, service management, and enterprise resource planning software(* Disclosure below.)

Handling scale challenges

Many companies aspire to ramp up and scale out. Doing so means they must deal with the expansion challenges that come with scaling. To weather the supply chain disruptions, IFS is seeing more organizations digitally transform at a faster pace for tighter collaboration and integration.

New research revealed that large enterprises are keeping more stock now compared to pre-pandemic times. And the global economy is now refactoring itself — through initiatives such as digital transformation — to cope with the pandemic’s debilitating effects.

“Having a single view of our data across the entire business enables us to get better operational visibility and thereby optimize our processes and support our growth strategy as we can deliver more projects more efficiently,” said Gilles Burckel, director of business unit controlling EfW at Hitachi Zosen Inova. The company recently selected IFS Cloud to support its global transformation project.

IFS’ acquisition of Ultimo Software Solutions represents another step to answering industry pain points in enterprise asset management software.

“This acquisition puts IFS in a uniquely strong position as we now offer the most complete set of EAM capabilities in the market,” Roos stated. “The flexibility and configurability of Ultimo is a great complement to the end-to-end capabilities of IFS Cloud.”
