SolarWinds launches new cloud-native SaaS observability platform
Information technology management software and observability company SolarWinds Worldwide LLC today announced the launch of SolarWinds Observability, a cloud-native software-as-a-service platform that provides unified and comprehensive observability for distributed, hybrid and multicloud information technology environments.
SolarWinds Observability is said to enable customers to accelerate digital transformation through powerful machine learning and artificial intelligence capabilities that make it easy to manage highly complex IT environments. The new platform blends SolarWinds observability solutions across network, infrastructure, systems, application, database, digital experience and log monitoring in one end-to-end solution across private and public clouds.
The new offering is built for IT Ops and DevOps teams, developers, cloud architects and IT executives who need business insights to identify and remediate issues.
SolarWinds Observability is designed to address the shift to the cloud, hybrid IT and remote workforces. All that has resulted in the introduction of new tech tools that have created a more complex IT environment for organizations. As a result, technology professionals now have reduced visibility into their networks, applications and infrastructures.
SolarWinds Observability is claimed to solve the problem by providing visibility into the complete environment in both public and private clouds by expediting anomaly identification and resolution. The new offering is available on Microsoft Corp.’s Azure and Amazon Web Services Inc.
“We’re laying the foundation for autonomous operations through both monitoring and observability solutions built to empower customers to move forward on their cloud and digital transformation journeys,” Rohini Kasturi, chief product officer at SolarWinds, said in a statement. “With our Hybrid Cloud Observability and SolarWinds Observability offerings, customers have ultimate flexibility to deploy on a private cloud, public cloud or as a service.”
SolarWinds also unveiled a new version of its Hybrid Cloud Observability solution. Capable of being easily implemented in hybrid environments, Hybrid Cloud Observability now features enhanced anomaly detection capabilities powered by AI and machine learning.
