Stravito adds AI to enhance the search experience on its enterprise insights platform

Knowledge management startup Stravito AB today announced the launch of new generative AI capabilities designed to enhance the search experience on its enterprise insights platform.

The advanced features are designed to provide users with quicker, actionable insights using an interactive, conversation-like search system. Strativo argues that its generative AI offering differs from traditional enterprise search mechanisms by allowing users to pose full questions in everyday language, in response to which they receive concise, natural language answers. These answers are synthesized using multiple sources, making the tool highly relevant for each client.

The core of the new service is making life easier for users, with the AI generating related questions based on the user’s initial query. Users can use these suggestions to refine their search further, hastening the discovery of relevant and actionable information. The time saved on searching can be better used to strategize based on the insights provided.

Reliability and trustworthiness are also front and center in Stravito’s generative AI. The service only uses internally owned data, ensuring the avoidance of irrelevant or false information that could disrupt the research process. The platform provides clickable links to source documents alongside every search result to bolster confidence in the validity of the information.

Coming into the release, Stravito has heavily tested its AI to ensure it functions correctly and securely. The technology operates on secure, approved enterprise cloud environments, adhering to stringent safety protocols and user data privacy.

When history is written, 2023 will most likely be known for AI, especially generative AI. Every company is jumping on the AI bandwagon, and in that regard, Stratvio is no different. That said, its approach is interesting, given that instead of just buying an application programming interface license from OpenAI LP, it has built the service from scratch and has also been very specific in ensuring that it doesn’t provide false answers.

“Generative AI has shown us that finding the best answers requires asking the right questions, so we’re making it easier to find the right question,” Thor Olof Philogéne, co-founder and chief executive of Stravito, said ahead of the release. “By including related questions alongside each answer, users can further refine their search to find the most useful answers, providing critical advantages for urgent needs and long-term business success.”
