Exclusive at Google Cloud Next: Persistent Systems unveils new AI partnerships and expands AI-driven innovations

During an era of unprecedented innovation in cloud computing, many companies are expanding their industry partnerships. Persistent Systems Ltd.’s active partnership with Google Cloud shifted into a new gear last year when the two companies launched a suite of cloud-powered generative AI solutions.

This chapter in the two companies’ joint initiatives leveraged Google Cloud’s generative AI offerings to streamline data modernization, reduce time-to-market and lessen costs. The announcement offered a glimpse into how major technology players are moving rapidly to scale generative AI for maximum impact.

“We are one of the premier partners for Google Cloud,” said Asheesh Sharma, delivery lead for Google Cloud and analytics and AI at Persistent Systems, during an interview with theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio. “It’s getting this generative AI in the hands of the people. Let them feel it; let them play with it. That is an important aspect of the whole revolution from here onwards.”

TheCUBE will be interviewing Persistent Systems’ executives and partners during Google Cloud Next. Don’t miss our exclusive interviews, on demand April 10, for news and analysis as theCUBE explores how Persistent Systems is driving AI innovation and machine learning advancements throughout the Google Cloud ecosystem. Persistent Systems expands collaboration in AI

Since the announcement in July, Persistent Systems has been actively pursuing additional partnerships to broaden its AI portfolio and customer offerings.

These include a collaboration with Swan AI Studios, a healthcare firm, to leverage AI for patient engagement and improved health outcomes. Persistent Systems also forged an alliance with Notified, a Digital Media Innovations LLC company, in the implementation of generative AI to strengthen public and investor relations.

Persistent Systems is seeking to build on Google Cloud’s release last year of Vertex AI, a constellation of cloud services that can be used by companies to build machine learning models and customize generative AI applications. In March, Google Cloud rolled out new Vertex AI tools for the healthcare and life sciences fields.

“With generative AI, the floodgates are actually open,” Sharma said. “Vertex AI’s integration with Google Cloud, helping them with debugging, looking at the error logs and automating some of the actions where they can fix things on the fly, that’s amazing. That is where [there is] a real value of automation and perhaps means that will free up people to do more cool stuff.”
