Mission Cloud launches new security solution for AWS, powered by CrowdStrike Falcon

Managed cloud service provider Mission Cloud Services Inc. today launched Mission Cloud Secure, a fully managed cloud detection and response service powered by CrowdStrike Holdings Inc.’s Falcon cybersecurity platform.

The new offering has been designed to provide Amazon Web Services Inc. customers with comprehensive managed security to stop cloud breaches.

Mission Cloud Secure seeks to take on the rapid growth of cloud exploitation cases and a widening cybersecurity skills gap by giving businesses specialized, rapid-response services to combat cloud misconfigurations and breaches. The new service combines Mission’s existing AWS expertise and control platform with CrowdStrike’s cyber expertise and protection across endpoint, cloud workloads, identity and data to deliver comprehensive protection for AWS workloads.

Key features and benefits of Mission Cloud Secure include continuous managed detection and response powered by CrowdStrike Falcon Complete, which allows AWS customers to swiftly detect and remediate threats across the enterprise. The service is supported by a dedicated security team around the clock, backed by CrowdStrike’s breach prevention warranty to enhance protection.

Mission Cloud Secure offers proactive threat hunting, leveraging artificial intelligence-driven analytics from the Falcon platform alongside expert analysts to detect and neutralize advanced attacks in real-time. The result is to ensure businesses can safeguard their cloud environments against sophisticated threats before they escalate.

The solution is designed for distributed, cloud-native environments, securing both AWS services and endpoints. Additionally, it provides compliance readiness tools for frameworks, including the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act and System and Organization Controls 2, along with streamlined reporting to ease audit preparations and compliance management.

Ryan Ries, Mission Cloud’s practice lead and general manager of data, analytics and machine learning, and founder and Chief Executive Simon Anderson spoke with theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio, in December, discussing how the company is helping companies adopt AI and its partnership with AWS:
