CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. today announced a major expansion of its partnership with Google Cloud, aimed at delivering comprehensive, end-to-end security for artificial intelligence innovation using the CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security platform.
The expanded partnership seeks to address the growing level of cloud intrusions and the rapid adoption of AI that is introducing new challenges to securing innovation. CrowdStrike argues that traditional tools and point products cannot keep pace with the speed of modern development pipelines or the complexity of hybrid cloud environments.
The partnership sees CrowdStrike offering deep integrations that will allow Google Cloud customers to benefit from enhanced protection across the entire AI lifecycle, from development to deployment. Features include built-in capabilities that help organizations secure code, data and models with minimal operational overhead.
Key features of the expanded integrations between CrowdStrike and Google Cloud include AI image scanning to identify misconfigurations and vulnerabilities during the build phase. Compliance enforcement for ARM64 containers and detection of container escapes further strengthen runtime protections for AI workloads.
CrowdStrike’s AI Security Posture Management adds continuous monitoring and policy enforcement to help customers stay compliant in evolving cloud environments. Combined with Falcon Data Protection and AI Red Team Services, the solution enables end-to-end protection from build to runtime and posture management to further protect AI deployments and sensitive data on Google Cloud.
“Cloud security has never been more critical, especially as organizations accelerate AI innovation,” said Daniel Bernard, chief business officer at CrowdStrike. “Visibility and alerts alone aren’t enough – security teams need real-time protection that keeps pace with how AI workloads are built and run.”
“Together with Google Cloud, we’re empowering customers to innovate with confidence, securing the infrastructure, data and models powering the AI revolution – with cloud security’s leading solution that delivers on the promise of stopping breaches,” added Bernard.
Also announced alongside the expanded partnership was that CrowdStrike has received the 2025 Google Cloud Security Partner of the Year Award for Workload Security. The award recognizes CrowdStrike’s leadership in delivering advanced protection for cloud-native environments, highlighting its role in helping customers secure workloads, applications and AI models across complex hybrid cloud infrastructures.
Cristian Rodriguez, field chief technology officer, Americas, at CrowdStrike and Stephen Orban, vice president of migrations, ISVs and marketplace at Google Cloud, spoke with theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio, in March, on how CrowdStrike and Google Cloud are enhancing protection at scale.
