Sola Solutions raises $17.5M to enhance enterprise process automation

Sola Solutions Inc., an agentic artificial intelligence process automation platform, today announced it has raised $17.5 million in early funding to launch its company.

Kimberly Tan and Jennifer Li at Andreessen Horowitz led the Series A funding round. The new funds bring the company’s total raised to $21 million, including a $3.5 million seed round led by Sarah Guo at Conviction.

Sola provides intelligent AI agents and intuitive tooling to enterprise clients using a no-code, visual approach that allows business users to describe workflows to build, edit and maintain processes. According to the company, the platform does more than simply automate a sequence of actions; it uses AI to learn, make decisions and self-optimize in real time.

Agentic AI refers to AI systems capable of acting autonomously to achieve goals and take proactive actions by making independent decisions based on learned information.

Unlike traditional AI, which typically relies on predefined rules or step-by-step instructions, AI agents can handle complex tasks with minimal human intervention. They can plan actions, execute actions and then learn from the outcomes.

“Teams can simply record a process once, and Sola turns it into an agentic bot that runs, adapts and improves on its own, interacting with screens and platforms the way we do,” explained Jessica Wu, co-founder and chief executive of Sola.

Wu went on to describe how this technology would enable logistics companies to automate their shipment updates, allow law firms to manage complex filings without needing to involve developers and help healthcare providers streamline billing processes across disconnected systems automatically.

“These aren’t pilots or prototypes,” said Wu. “Sola bots are live in production, handling real workflows every day. Instead of brittle scripts or endless specs, it’s just faster work, built the way people actually do it.”

Sola combines large language models and computer vision to intelligently interpret user behavior and generate enterprise workflows. This enables non-technical users to easily create and deploy automations without needing to learn specialized tools or go to an expert. The AI agents handle the rest, including errors and issues, by self-healing and learning from outcomes.

Once a process automation is created, users can customize it using a visual editor that clearly describes each step. The business logic is fully outlined, including document processing, looping and various logic operations, all within a powerful and intuitive interface, according to the company.

According to the company, the agents will overcome minor user interface and data changes, reducing the fragility common to static automations.

Sola’s customers include American law firm Morgan & Morgan P.A., transportation provider AllyLogistics LLC, remote work management platform Firstbase.io Inc. and Kintsugi Mindful Wellness Inc.
