Cybersecurity services emerge as a key growth driver
As the tech industry remains in constant motion, cybersecurity services have become a notable force driving the industry’s next wave of growth. Advisory work, managed support and artificial intelligence-driven strategies are leading changes in how partners scale profitability.

The shift in dynamics was clear during this year’s Fal.Con, where services-as-strategy carried clear momentum. In fact, data from Canalys, now part of Omdia, shows the economics of cybersecurity now favor partners that move beyond reselling products and into service-led strategies, according to Amanda Adams (pictured), vice president of Americas Alliances and Partners at CrowdStrike Holdings Inc.
“I know that Canalys has worked with the hyperscalers to do similar reports, but we’re the first company to have Canalys go out and talk to our partners, to look at their services’ growth, to understand where they’re seeing revenue growth,” she said. “And for every dollar of CrowdStrike, they’re seeing $7 of partner-led services — seven to one. It’s incredible.”
Adams spoke with theCUBE’s Dave Vellante and Rebecca Knight at Fal.Con, during an exclusive broadcast on theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio. They discussed how cybersecurity services are reshaping partner strategies, with AI and long-term service models redefining profitability. (* Disclosure below.)
Cybersecurity services fuel the next phase of partnerships
Artificial intelligence is now at the center of cybersecurity services, with partners using automation tools to cut out routine work. Adams noted that this shift is reshaping how managed services are delivered across the ecosystem.
“Our partners are leveraging AI services as part of managed services, as well as their level one, level two support … so they can focus on more strategic areas,” she said. “If you can push that [more mundane work] to AI, the value of the service that the partners are providing on top of the platform is exponentially increased.”
The financial stakes are significant. The Canalys study highlights how partner-led services are no longer a short-term boost, but a compounding source of profitability. The research shows that those who lean into cybersecurity services early are positioned to capture outsized gains as their practices mature, according to Adams.
“It’s maximized within the third year,” she said. “I’m very proud, because there’s so much greatness that our partners are delivering today, and we finally captured it within that research. Our services revenue with partners is growing year over year — it’s compounding over time.”
