Windows endpoint management company Aiden Technologies Inc. today announced the launch of AidenRescue, a new solution for recovering and rebuilding Windows devices after a ransomware attack or other catastrophic information technology failure.

AidenRescue is built on Aiden’s Full-Provisioning technology and can fully wipe, rebuild and reconfigure any compromised device without relying on local infrastructure, recovery partitions or prebuilt images.

The new offering, along with ransomware recovery, also offers everyday uses such as cleaning and repurposing a device for a new user, upgrading to a new operating system and reprovisioning a device disabled by a blue-screen error. The service reinstalls the correct operating system, drivers, firmware, applications and security policies automatically by connecting directly to a secure, always-updated cloud repository.

AidenRescue includes step-by-step prompts confirming key actions, such as wiping and rebuilding a device, to ensure administrators feel confident throughout the process. With the service, IT teams can control who can initiate rebuilds and may grant temporary permissions during widespread incidents.

The service includes a number of innovations, including the ability for devices to boot directly from the internet without needing local media and IT teams can enforce identity-based access controls at the very first step of recovery. AidenRescue also uses a universal recovery environment that can automatically apply the right drivers and partitioning and does so by leveraging a global cloud delivery network to ensure rebuilds are fast and consistent anywhere in the world.

For security, AidenRescue uses Microsoft Entra ID to securely authenticate users and enforce policy-driven rebuilds, allowing only authorized personnel to initiate a device recovery or provisioning process while also applying the correct organizational policies automatically.

For organizations standardized on Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, AidenRescue extends their identity and security framework to endpoint recovery and provisioning.

Aiden Technologies is a venture capital-backed startup that has raised $7.4 million over two rounds, according to data from Tracxn. Investors in the company include Right Side Capital Management, Blu Venture Investors, Intercept Ventures and Gaingels.
