SpecterOps adds Okta, GitHub and Mac coverage to BloodHound Enterprise platform

Cybersecurity solutions and services provider Specter Ops Inc. today announced an expansion of its BloodHound Enterprise platform to cover Okta Inc., GitHub and Mac environments and introduced new OpenGraph extensions to map and remediate identity-based attack paths across hybrid systems.

The new BloodHound Enterprise expands identity attack path visibility and remediation to allow organizations to identify and prioritize hybrid attack paths across identity providers, applications and repositories. At the same time, they can access remediation guidance to shut down pathways before they can be exploited. The new capabilities also support customers in maturing their identity attack path management practice.

Features of the new release include expanded identity security coverage across Okta, GitHub and Jamf. That allows users to detect and remediate identity misconfigurations, privilege escalation paths and unauthorized access risks across endpoints to prevent identity-based attacks in hybrid environments.

Extended least-privilege enforcement with privilege zone analysis is used to define multiple privilege tiers and identify violations across business-critical applications and regulated systems. The aim is to reduce risk beyond traditional identity infrastructure and enhanced role-based access controls restrict user access to only authorized domains, tenants, accounts and organizations to lower data exposure and strengthen identity governance.

Using the new BloodHound Enterprise, users can also maintain encryption control with bring your own key support to support internal security policies and compliance requirements.

Other features include support to operationalize identity risk across security workflows with Palo Alto Networks Inc., Microsoft Sentinel and ServiceNow Inc. integrations. The integrations with Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR, Microsoft Sentinel and ServiceNow VRM convert BloodHound Enterprise attack path findings into incidents, correlate identity risk within security information and event management workflows and accelerate remediation across security operations.

The capabilities also extend the value of BloodHound Scentry, which pairs SpecterOps tradecraft expertise with BloodHound Enterprise to accelerate identity attack path management maturity.

“Attackers increasingly exploit identities and the trust relationships between platforms, people and agents to gain access to critical assets,” said Chief Product Officer Justin Kohler. “With the introduction of OpenGraph for BloodHound Enterprise, identity and security teams can extend attack path management across Okta, GitHub and Mac systems, reducing attack paths and protecting critical assets across hybrid environments.”

BloodHound Enterprise will be demonstrated by SpecterOps at the RSAC conference in San Francisco March 23-26.
