Cybersecurity company Barracuda Networks Inc. today announced an expansion to its BarracudaONE cybersecurity platform and an overhaul to its global Partner Success Program to strengthen cyber resilience across email, network access and generative artificial intelligence usage and improve partner growth.
The expansion of the BarracudaONE cybersecurity platform sees the introduction of improved email security for Google Workspace, expanded network edge protection through SecureEdge Access and new AI security capabilities that provide visibility into generative AI usage, including shadow AI detection, risk scoring and policy enforcement.
The improved email security for Google Workspace sees Barracuda Email Protection neutralizing phishing, account takeover and other attacks with expanded impersonation protection and automated incident response. With the improvements, Barracuda says that organizations benefit from consistent, compliant email security across both Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, reducing risk, complexity and recovery time.
For network edge security, Barracuda SecureEdge Access is being enhanced with a cloud‑delivered, fully integrated secure service edge solution that brings together secure internet access, zero-trust application access, firewall‑as‑a‑service, and visibility and policy controls for generative AI usage. Pitched as easy to deploy, the expanded offering is designed to strengthen defenses across distributed environments while reducing risk, complexity and tool sprawl.
The third enhancement — generative AI risk visibility — sees Barracuda AI Security now providing safe, compliant oversight of generative AI usage. The expanded service, which is being offered to customers at no additional cost within BarracudaONE, gives visibility into shadow AI activity, risk scoring and policy enforcement to block or redirect noncompliant use.
Generative AI risk visibility also offers centralized, multitenant dashboards to help organizations reduce data exposure and improve AI governance.
Barracuda also announced updates to its Partner Success Program to support how today’s partners operate, including rolling managed service providers and resellers into one unified, flexible program.
The new fit‑for‑purpose model supports multiple routes to market and is designed to make it easier for partners to grow faster with BarracudaONE. The enhancements also include unified tiering that expands benefits and incentives to all partners.
New features include a robust set of foundational benefits available to all partners, with new “boost benefits” that are tailored to maximize value based on a partner’s chosen route to market. A complementary refreshed rebate structure further drives predictable profitability, while an overhauled certification curriculum and the new Barracuda Mastery Program deepens technical expertise to sharpen service differentiation.
Barracuda is also launching a new AI‑powered partner portal that offers an integrated experience for all partner types. Features include guided onboarding, automated deal registration, data‑driven dashboards, personalized learning paths, simplified marketing development funds tracking and streamlined access to co‑brandable assets and enablement resources.
The company says that with greater visibility into requirements, benefits and progression, partners can unlock even more value across the program. AI‑driven marketing automation capabilities are also in development to help partners scale their go‑to‑market efforts.
“With our newest BarracudaONE and partner program enhancements, we’re accelerating innovation and delivering on our commitment to provide a platform that is easy to buy, deploy and use as well as being partner-first and partner-only,” said Barracuda Chief Executive Rohit Ghai. “We’re harnessing AI to empower organizations to keep pace with a rapidly evolving threat landscape and build lasting resilience with confidence.”
