Ooyala: We’re All Set To Deliver Video On The iPad
Robin Wauters at Techcrunch has some seemingly good news from one of my favorite video startups, Ooyala:
Just because the iPad won’t support Flash doesn’t mean that you won’t be able to watch any videos on the highly anticipated Apple device. Video platform company Ooyala, for one, this morning said it will support full video delivery to iPad when it launches on April 3rd.
Here’s what the press note and this post doesn’t say: will the HTML5/MP4 version of the videos have all that wonderful intelligent goodness that Ooyala is known for?
Or have the (more than likely) simply put out a press release that confirms they deliver MP4 versions of their video files?
