With less than two weeks to go until the August 13 unveiling of Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd.’s new range of Galaxy smartphones and phablets, two new leaks surfaced over the weekend to give us a glimpse at what we can expect from the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+.

On Saturday, known tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) shared technical specifications for the Galaxy Note 5 and an image showing off the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+.

According to Blass, the Galaxy Note 5 will feature a 5.66-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and Samsung’s own octa-core Exynos 7420 processor – four cores at 2.1GHz and four cores at 1.5GHz – with 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and no microSD card reader. The rear camera is a 16-megapixel unit, accompanied by a 5-megapixel front camera.

If those details look familiar, it is because there is nothing new revealed by this leak. The same Galaxy Note 5 specs surfaced earlier last week. More interesting than the technical specs shared by Blass, is the image of the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ he also shared on Saturday. As you will see from the image, the two devices are more or less the same size, confirming a few of the rumors about the Galaxy S6 edge+ doing the rounds. Also shown in the image is Samsung’s S-Pen stylus. No details were shared about the stylus, but rumors suggest is will feature a new push-to-release mechanism and improved software.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S6 edge+ is expected to be merely a super-sized version of the popular Galaxy S6 edge. The phablet is rumored to sport  a 5.67-inch super AMOLED with QHD resolution (2560×1440 pixels), Samsung’s own Exynos 7420 processor, a 16-magpixle rear camera, a 5-megapixle front camera, non-removable 3,000 mAh battery, and run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, and no microSD card reader.

Samsung is expected to unveil the two devices at a special Unpacked event scheduled to take place on August 13 at 11 am EDT. Rumors suggest the company may also show off both a larger-screen and smaller-screen version of its Galaxy S6 smartphone in the form of a Galaxy S6 Plus and Galaxy S6 mini.
