Innovating with AWS at the core | #reinvent
Andy Jassy, senior vice president of Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS), rocked the world at this morning’s keynote during Amazon re:Invent 2015 in Las Vegas with the announcement of a plethora of tools directed at the enterprise consumer, but how can businesses seamlessly make the transition to the cloud?
This is where Full 360, Inc., comes in to make the day just a little bit easier. John Furrier, host of theCUBE, from the SiliconANGLE Media team, spoke to Jeremy Winters, lead architect and data warehouse designer at Full 360, and Michael Bowen, lead data architect at Full 360, to get their reaction to AWS’ stunning announcements.
The partnership
Full 360’s focus is managing and handling the aspects of setting up a platform for cloud migration and providing continued support. It uses AWS tools regularly to help businesses with their transitions so they don’t have to focus on IT, but instead can focus on the firm’s goals.
The company wants to “help you use the data, ingest the data, take advantage of the offerings Amazon has and guide the customer confidently through the process,” according to Winters.
Exciting additions
The additional tools offered by AWS have added to the offerings and possibilities for partners like Full 360. AWS’ new QuickSight changes the game of business intelligence, especially for Winters’ and Bowen’s company, which deals with many of the additions that were added. This also includes Firehose, which looks at real-time data, something that Full 360’s customers are very interested in.
The company operates in the data migration space, and Amazon has further revolutionized that space with additions. This could mean that Full 360 will be well poised to jump onto those innovations and further build on them to provide customers with even more value built upon the AWS ecosystem.
