MapR packages services to help customers move up the AI learning curve

MapR Technologies Inc. today announced six new data science service packages aimed at helping customers get started with machine learning and artificial intelligence. The customized offerings apply MapR data scientists to specific customer problems and projects to demonstrate the use of advanced analytics.

  • The AI/ML Hack-a-thon has a MapR data science team working with an organization to identify a business use case and rapidly prototype a solution. The service is aimed at companies that are new to AI and ML and is intended to demonstrate the value of the technology.
  • In the Data Science Refinery Accelerator, an expert guides customers through installation, best practices and baseline models for successful model deployment.
  • Cybersecurity Advanced Protection orchestrates a real-time pipeline of logs to train machine learning models based upon the unique signature of network sources and traffic.  The resulting dashboard presents a visual representation of suspicious activity.
  • Aimed at more advanced machine learning adopters, ML Deployment demonstrates the modeling process on the MapR Data Platform.
  • The AI Enablement offering combines the MapR machine learning framework with streaming events to create AI models that continuously learn. It then applies reinforcement learning to teach the system to adapt to identify and assess unusual cases.
  • Designed for experienced machine learning adopters, ML Model Maintenance. enables organizations to monitor their ML workflows for events that might impact their accuracy. The offering is addresses the problem of performance and accuracy degradation that tends to afflict machine learning models over time.
