Novee launches with $51.5M to bring continuous AI offensive security to enterprises

Israeli artificial intelligence offensive security startup Novee Cyber Security Ltd. launched today with $51.5 million in new early-stage funding to scale up its AI penetration testing platform and accelerate customer adoption as organizations shift toward continuous, machine-speed offensive security.

Founded in May 2025, Novee is seeking to address the increasing issue whereby attackers are leveraging AI to operate at machine speed, to automate reconnaissance, continuously probe systems and weaponize weaknesses faster than defenders can respond. To keep up, defense must move at the same pace and yet security testing remains tethered to human-scale workflows.

The company argues that while software is now built and deployed continuously, penetration testing still happens episodically or relies on shallow automation. Thrown into the mix is that organizations are no longer defending against static threats, as they are instead up against automated, adaptive adversaries who can exploit a vulnerability in the time it takes a human tester to open a ticket, leaving dangerous blind spots deep inside production environments.

Novee is seeking to close this gap by transforming offensive tradecraft into continuous, AI-driven penetration testing, simulating the sophisticated tactics of real-world hackers.

The company claims that it offers the only penetration testing platform that is capable of uncovering novel vulnerabilities, including complex business logic flaws that previously only the most advanced manual pentesters could find. Novee provides an end-to-end loop that confirms critical risks are not just identified but permanently removed.

Novee’s platform uses a proprietary AI model that is claimed to have outperformed frontier large language models, such as Gemini 2.5 Pro and Claude 4 Sonnet, by more than 55% on constrained web exploitation challenges. The model has also achieved up to 90% accuracy, whereas general-purpose models typically plateau at around 65%.

“Attackers don’t wait for your annual pentest and neither should your defense,” said co-founder and Chief Executive Ido Geffen. “What security teams actually need are high-signal findings they can trust: novel vulnerabilities that are proven exploitable. Novee has already helped organizations uncover hundreds of these novel vulnerabilities and fix them continuously, closing gaps before attackers exploit them.”

Geffen, along with co-founders Chief Product Officer Gon Chalamish and Chief Technology Officer Omer Ninburg, are veteran offensive security leaders from the Israel Defense Force’s most elite cyber programs and led nation-state–level offensive security operations.

The Series A round was led by YL Ventures LP, Canaan Partners and Oren Zeev from Zeev Ventures LP.

“Novee is built by a team that has spent decades operating at the highest levels of offensive cyber and critical infrastructure defense,” said Yoav Leitersdorf, managing partner at YL Ventures. “They understand how real attackers think because they have done this work themselves, at scale and under real-world constraints. As AI changes the speed and nature of attacks, offensive security becomes a continuous capability, not a periodic exercise.”
