Security operations startup Fig Security Inc. launched today and announced that it hadsraised $38 million in new funding to support product development, increase its headcount and support go-to-market growth, particularly in North America.
Founded in 2025 by Gal Shafir, Nir Loya Dahan and Roy Haimof (pictured), who previously held leadership roles in organizations including Siemplify Inc., Cymulate Ltd. and Google Cloud Security, Fig Security offers a platform focused on maintaining the reliability of enterprise security operations environments as infrastructure, tools and configurations change over time.
The company addresses operational blind spots that can emerge when detection and response workflows degrade due to misconfigurations, pipeline failures or integration drift across complex SecOps stacks. It does so by continuously mapping and validating end-to-end detection and response flows across interconnected security systems.
Fig’s platform integrates with an organization’s existing technology stack. It autonomously discovers how security data moves from source systems through ingestion pipelines, security information and event management systems, data lakes and security orchestration, automation and response platforms and extends to AI-driven security operations center tooling where deployed.
The platform builds a model of interconnected flows and traces data lineage across components to identify where telemetry, alerts or automated responses may be interrupted or altered. The system can monitor structural and configuration changes that affect operational integrity.
Features include continuous validation of detection logic, monitoring of data pipeline health and analysis of dependencies between tools and workflows. When changes occur that could impair detection or response coverage, the platform generates alerts that identify the affected components and the potential operational impact.
The platform also offers simulation capabilities to allow teams to test proposed changes in advance. That way, it helps them evaluate whether adjustments to integrations, schemas or workflows could introduce gaps before they are implemented in production.
“The most dangerous failures in security are the ones you do not know about,” said co-founder and Chief Executive Shafir. “If a detection has not been triggered in months, teams often cannot tell whether that reflects true safety or a breakdown somewhere in the plumbing. We built Fig to give security teams their confidence back so they can modernize their SOC, adopt AI and move fast without shipping blind spots to production.”
Fig’s technology is designed for large enterprises operating multivendor security environments that combine cloud services, on-premises systems and managed security tools. The platform also supports organizations that rely on layered detection strategies and automated response processes, where frequent updates to infrastructure, integrations and policies can introduce unintended disruptions.
The combined seed and Series A funding round was backed by Team8 Capital and Ten Eleven Ventures, with a group of prominent security leaders, including former Splunk Inc. CEO Doug Merritt. Rene Bonvani, former chief marketing officer of Palo Alto Networks Inc., and the founders of Demisto Inc. and Siemplify also participated.
“Security teams are under increasing pressure to move faster while managing growing operational complexity,” said Ori Barzilay, a partner at Team8. “The Fig Security team brings firsthand experience building and operating SecOps platforms at scale and is addressing a real gap in how organizations approach resilience in security operations.”
