Writer launches universal touchpoint for enterprise information and memory for AI
Generative artificial intelligence agent startup Writer Inc. today launched Enterprise Brain in early access, a governed universal context layer for enterprise knowledge, branding and logic that remains the same across every team and AI system.
The company said Enterprise Brain will launch with Agent Memory, a new team-level memory layer that will help maintain brand compliance and standardize across companies.
Writer also launched Writer Meet to connect Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet, transcribe calls and turn meetings into context for automated actions. Users can also activate actions from within their collaborative workspaces where they chat, including Slack and Teams, with background conversations, working alongside agents as teammates.
“Every enterprise on earth can now buy the same frontier AI from the labs, but generic intelligence creates generic companies, undifferentiated customer journeys and frustrated marketing and revenue teams,” said co-founder and Chief Executive May Habib.
Habib added that competitive advantage isn’t something you can buy off the shelf; it lives in the enterprise ephemera that only revenue and marketing teams know about customers. Hard-won judgments that shape how work gets done; that happens when people get together, how they differentiate, how they operate and the core brand.
With Enterprise Brain, Writer is putting its core platform at the team level, whereas most AI memory systems are built to serve individuals and rely on one-on-one sessions. This works for personal assistants, where memory never leaves day-to-day interactions. Team-wide shared collaboration that captures decisions, ideas, preferences and conversations helps create a sense of organizational knowledge.
The company said its research team optimized the memory system around how work gets done, not just individual preferences and validated it against both public and internal benchmarks.
“Most AI products are still fundamentally single-player,” said Vice President of Product Matan-Paul Shetrit. “Context gets trapped in one person’s session; memory doesn’t carry across interfaces and skills have to be configured over and over again. That doesn’t cut it in the enterprise, where work is collaborative and every decision builds on what came before.”
Writer said Enterprise Brain is built for Fortune 500 companies such as Mars Inc., The Clorox Co. and H&R Block Inc. to join enterprise marketing and revenue teams so brand vision and campaign messaging remain consistent. Since every team speaks to the same Enterprise Brain agent, maintaining the same memory, the customer journey remains consistent from beginning to end, on-brand and grounded in business insights learned from every step.
The company added that Enterprise Brain gets smarter from every campaign and every deal. Each time a team uses the system, its agents, workflows and interactions learn to adapt to team activities and combine the shared knowledge.
