Juniper Recognized as Best Channel Vendor, Adds More Partners
Juniper Networks, a leader in the business of network innovation, tooted its own horn a bit at being recognized as the Best Channel Vendor for 2011 by Business Solutions Magazine’s (BSM’s) readership. The company has won the award by thousands of votes from IT solution providers. The votes were calculated by Penn State University for the award given to the vendors who score within top 5 percent of their respective technology category.
Juniper has received this award for its exceptional marks in attributes like product features, product reliability & product innovation, service and support, channel friendliness and adequate VAR margins. This award is a great achievement by Juniper that provides it a good rating for its channel strategy, products and partner program.

Throughout the year 2010, Juniper kept making several product innovations and developments. One of the recent development made by it is the involvement of Targus Technologies in its Elite J-Partner Program. Targus is an ISO-9001: 2000 certified company and a leading IT solution provider in the industry dealing in network and infrastructure design and solutions for connectivity, messaging, storage, audio/video, office automation and facility management.

It also completed an all-cash acquisition deal of Trapeze Networks in $152.1 million. In nutshell, it was a great year of Juniper Networks in terms of deals as well as self-developments.
