Weekly Tablet Business Apps Roundup, Sketch Rolls Tops the List

This week Sketch Rolls is the featured app in our business tablet apps list. This iPad application differentiates itself from alternatives by offering a simple yet innovative advantage to its users that add a little professional edge.

iPad

Sketch Rolls

Sketch Rolls is what can be called a professional doodling app: its minimalistic interface is perfect for pitching ideas or capturing a concept on-the-fly, whether it’s an architectural design or something else. The gimmick is that the app enables users to leverage more display real-estate than what the iPad can physically offer by enabling them to roll up or down – hence the name.

Wikly

Wikly is one of those apps that are unique thanks to the fact that, while they may not be particularly original, they do offer a whole lot of quality in one package. This calendar app puts the emphasis on wrapping up all the needed features in a user-friendly interface that allows you to take a little bit more pleasure in organizing next week’s schedule.

Epic Canto

Canto is a healthcare app designed for users within organizations that signed up to the developer’s Electronic Health Record service. They can use the client to access all kinds of well-organized hospital data, including patient lists  and schedules in addition to health summaries, test results and notes.

Android

Avaya one-X Mobile Preferred for IP Office

Avaya will be rolling the first mobile version of its unified communications software on Android. Specifically, the app will be based on v8.0 of one-X, and will empower users by boosting communications on-the-go, thus increasing overall workforce efficiency and convenience as well.

Snapseed

Another upcoming app, the popular photo editing software will soon roll out for Nvidia Tegra-powered tablets that run on Ice Cream Sandwich.  The award-winning application bases itself on the same principal Wikly makes use of: simplicity.
