Don’t Miss the Fun With Party-Finding Apps at SXSW 2012

March 13 marks the closing of this year’s SXSW Interactive. But, it is not too late to join last hurrah parties. With several happenings on at the Austin event, party-finding apps will be participant’s best buddies to not get lost in the wilderness.

The last two days have been extremely exciting for those who migrated to the city for to join this week-long SXSW. So far, geeks have gotten ample amount of nerd-herd discussions and key notes. Tech companies have been visible in booths and parties all around whether because of product launches, innovation, music, movies and more.

Before SXSW Interactive comes to an end, make sure that you have been to the happening you wished and planned to be at before the whole event commenced last Friday. Apps help us find the party hotspots.

Online event registration app, Eventbrite lists a number of parties left for SXSW. Coming up in less than an hour is IEEE/First Robotics meet-up reception with Dean Kamen to touch on the topic of digital health and how technology can re-invigorate medical facilities and practices. The lecture will be held at the Austin Convention Center Exhibit Hall. Around the same time is Global Accelerator Network and Cisco Systems team-up for Asheville Vibe. The Zya launch party happening at Six Lounge will be sponsored by Intel AppUp. Tomorrow evening, Evernote will take centerstage to chat about how their app can be essential to manage, organize and streamline small scale businesses.

The official Karrennet list includes HP Interactive Awards Party at Hilton Hotel on March 13th from 6PM until 9PM. Closing party of Media Temple Interactive will be at Stubb’s at River Street. Later this evening, Nike invites everyone to discuss digital sports. BuzzMedia PureVolume House writing an epic by showcasing the big names in the market like LIGHTS, Wallpaper, Cher Lloyd, Motion City Soundtrack, ZAMBRI

With social discovery being one of the hottest trends in SXSW, the traditional way of walking around to locate attendees with similar interests is a thing in the past. Now, apps make serendipity at the conference more logical and data-based. Whether some thinks that SXSW could not be a healthy platform for startup product launches, the vigor from the audience has never ceased since day one.
