ZeroFox unveils new mobile app for real-time physical security intelligence

Cybersecurity firm ZeroFox Inc. today announced the launch of ZeroFox PSI Mobile, a physical security intelligence mobile application for corporate security practitioners who need dynamic, intelligence-driven physical security.

The company says the app delivers continuous global physical threat awareness for on-the-go corporate security practitioners and allows for a rapid response to physical security incidents that could impact employee safety or disrupt critical business operations.

Physical security threats to business are reportedly significantly increasing. ZeroFox says its intelligence indicates an 18% increase in external cybersecurity attacks targeting executives, including physical security threats including acts of violence, emergency response situations and travel advisories. ZeroFox argues that physical threats don’t wait until practitioners return to their desks, and the new app allows corporate security teams to access the latest intelligence, both on site and off.

The PSI Mobile App, available for iOS and Android, has been designed specifically for on-the-go corporate security practitioners and delivers all the existing value of ZeroFox’s current PSI solution, plus new mobile-centric features to assist while in the field.

It offers continuous monitoring and visibility through artificial intelilgence and dedicated physical security analysts. Through its use of AI-driven tools, ZeroFox collects threat data from the surface, deep and dark webs to create an extensive data lake with more than 12 billion historical threat intelligence records.

The technology integrates with third-party sources to assess emerging or imminent physical security threats. The app also provides real-time location sharing, tracking global threats customizable by time and proximity to executives’ mobile devices, covering countries, states, cities and geopolitical boundaries.

Additional features include interactive geo-visualization and search capabilities, as well as tagging global physical security incidents by type, location and time before displaying them on an interactive map. Along with allowing security teams to filter, search, visualize and share critical alert information, ZeroFox’s team of physical security analysts works around the clock to analyze and validate intelligence from social media, underground forums and websites to create high-fidelity alerts in near-real time.

“Our world is increasingly global and digital, and with that, corporate security analysts spend a significant portion of time away from their desktops – creating potential gaps or delays in coverage,” said Chief Product Officer John Prestridge. “With these new mobile-centric features like push notifications and optional location sharing, we’re arming practitioners with the proactive tools and intelligence they need to respond rapidly to physical security incidents affecting their organization’s global offices, headquarters, facilities and key personnel.

The PSI Mobile app is available at no additional cost to current ZeroFox customers.
