Mission Cloud launches AI optimization service for AWS users

Managed cloud service provider Mission Cloud Services Inc. today announced the launch of Mission AI Foundation, a new service designed to help businesses optimize their AI solutions on Amazon Web Services Inc. while also adhering to best practices and cost management.

The service has been created to assist companies that are interested in AI but are often put off by significant challenges and concerns, such as financial management, security and knowledge gaps. The idea of Mission AI Foundation is to give companies who are eager to harness the power of AI a way to move forward safely and efficiently.

The service combines support, engineering, strategy and guidance to help organizations manage their cloud infrastructure and build for the future of AI. It’s built on five pillars of continuous engagement: AI solutions optimization and architecture guidance, continuous cost and financial management, best practices and cloud governance, 24/7 enterprise support with AWS backing, and cloud strategy for transformative technology adoption.

“To build robust AI workloads, it’s crucial to have well-architected cloud infrastructure as the foundation,” said Ted Stuart, president and chief operating officer of Mission Cloud. “Mission AI Foundation provides the expertise and tools necessary to optimize both AI solutions and the underlying cloud and data architecture, manage costs, and align with best practices.”

Key features of Mission AI Foundation include access to a team of certified cloud analysts, technical account managers, solutions architects and AI engineers. The service focuses on improving token usage to ensure economical and high-performing AI operations, offering Engineer Assist — AI with pay-as-you-go engineering support.

Additionally, AI Foundation provides continuous guidance on prompting best practices to enhance accuracy, optimize templates, reduce hallucinations and improve overall model performance. The service also offers 24/7 support with AWS Enterprise-level service level agreements and includes Large Language Model Operations to build and maintain a dedicated operations pipeline.

“This comprehensive approach enables our customers to focus on innovation and growth, knowing their AI initiatives are built on a reliable, secure and efficient platform,” Stuart added.

AI Foundation leverages Mission Control, the company’s cloud services platform, along with Amazon QuickSight and Amazon Q, to provide users with detailed cost visualization and management tools.

Ryan Ries, Mission Cloud’s practice lead and general manager of data, analytics and machine learning, and founder and Chief Executive Simon Anderson spoke with theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio in December, discussing how the company is helping companies adopt AI and its partnership with AWS.
