Exabeam expands New-Scale platform with Open-API support and advanced threat detection

Security intelligence and management solutions company Exabeam Inc. today announced updates to its New-Scale Security Operations Platform that expand its capabilities with Open-API compatibility along with several enhancements designed to streamline threat detection, investigation and response.

Its first product launch of 2025 and only its second since merging with LogRhythm Inc. in July, Exabeam says the enhancements are focused on delivering a more integrated, flexible experience for security operation center teams. The newly added Open-API compatibility allows organizations to seamlessly connect their existing tools, eliminating the inefficiencies of disjointed systems and vendor lock-in.

With the New-Scale Platform Open-API Standard compatibility, SOC teams gain the ability to quickly create automations and playbooks. The integrated experience is said by Exabeam to empower developers and less skilled practitioners to focus on what matters most: quickly responding to threats with accurate insights, not wrestling with their automation tool.

Key updates to the platform include the introduction of New-Scale Analytics, a next-generation risk scoring and threat detection solution that incorporates late-arriving event logs and business context. The approach to threat detection reduces noise, integrates late-arriving event logs and eliminates manual tuning to provide a complete, constantly updated threat picture for investigations.

The platform’s Threat Center has also been enhanced with advanced automation and generative artificial intelligence capabilities through Exabeam Copilot. The update enables analysts to manage cases, detections and investigations more efficiently by consolidating information and automating repetitive tasks.

Exabeam has also expanded its ecosystem with integrations such as Wiz Inc. and Cloudflare Inc.’s Beat to offer broader visibility into cloud environments and network activity. Wiz integration brings comprehensive cloud security insights to strengthen threat detection, investigation and response, while Cloudflare Beat offers flexible visibility into logs stored in Amazon Web Services Inc.’s S3 storage service.

The integration of Wiz into the platform follows a partnership between Exabeam and Wiz that was signed in November.

The final announcement sees NetMon, Exabeam’s native network collection tool, now available across the entire product portfolio as an add-on to the New-Scale Platform or LogRhythm SIEM. The service provides granular, real-time insights into network traffic and offers enhanced visibility into activity across over 3,500 applications with detailed analysis of key data points such as application, source, destination IP and traffic volume.

“For too long, security teams have been forced to work within walled gardens, making do with fragmented, rigid systems that waste valuable time,” said Chief Product Officer Steve Wilson. “At Exabeam, we’re shattering that model.”

Wilson added that the company is delivering “a unified, open ecosystem that allows users to take control, integrate the best tools and customize their security operations without the roadblocks of traditional platforms. The era of truly open security operations is here.”
