Artificial intelligence-powered trust management company Vanta Inc. today announced the launch of its Agentic Trust Platform, a platform that connects compliance, risk and trust programs to help teams grow with confidence and stay ready for whatever comes next.
The new offering seeks to address the growing issue of AI cyberthreats, with the Vanta 2025 State of Trust report finding that 67% of enterprise leaders admit that AI cyber threats are advancing faster than their security team’s expertise to deal with them. Vanta argues that, given the increasing risk, there is a need for organizations to adopt AI in ways that enhance security without losing control.
Vanta’s Agentic Trust Platform is enterprise-ready and built for the AI era with the inclusion of the Vanta AI Agent 2.0. That’s a 24/7 governance, risk and compliance engineer that understands an organization’s compliance landscape deeply and orchestrates end-to-end workflows across Vanta.
The platform also offers an Organizations Center that gives full enterprise visibility and scalable, AI-powered workflow. It also has a Risk Graph that provides a complete view of risk exposure that reveals how threats originate, spread and can be stopped before they affect business. And there’s Customer Commitments, a feature that connects customer promises to an organization’s compliance program, automating workflows so every promise is kept.
The Vanta AI Agent 2.0, an updated version of the Vanta AI Agent offering announced earlier this year, has evolved into what Vanta calls “a dynamic 24/7 GRC engineer with complete program awareness and understanding.” The updated agent, powered by context and memory, can expose program gaps, provide proactive, personalized guidance, and take coordinated actions on critical work.
AI Agent 2.0 can now accelerate audit preparation by automatically collecting and validating evidence, eliminating one of the most time-consuming and error-prone parts of audit prep. It can also automate the questionnaire process and surface gaps before they slow reviews. And it can review and monitor vendors to surface high-priority alerts so teams can focus where it matters most.
The new Organizations Center connects multiple Vanta workspaces into a holistic view while maintaining separation where needed. Meanwhile, the Risk Graph offering creates a single source of truth for risks across the organization, turning disconnected alerts into a connected map that shows relationships across risks and how they spread throughout an environment.
“With our Agentic Trust Platform, Vanta is reimagining compliance automation with a new operating model: an intelligent agentic system that manages risk, controls and workflows so teams always know where they stand,” said Chief Product Officer Jeremy Epling. “Ultimately, our goal is simple: to make it effortless for our customers to earn, prove, and uphold trust.”
Vanta was previously in the news in July when it announced it had raised $150 million in new funding on a $4.15 billion valuation in part to expand into new markets, including third-party risk and government compliance. The Series D round was led by Wellington Management Co. LLP and included Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Sequoia Capital Operations, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Craft Ventures Management, Y Combinator, Atlassian Ventures and CrowdStrike Ventures.
