Phishing defense company Cofense Inc. today announced major updates to its phishing defense platform with the launch of Smart Reinforcement in its Security Awareness Training solution and the release of Triage 1.30 in its Phishing Detection and Response platform.
The enhancements deliver a major step forward in Cofense’s mission to deliver faster, smarter and more automated phishing threat remediation and training.
The first new release, Smart Reinforcement, is designed to streamline the delivery of security education by using artificial intelligence-powered automation and adaptive learning to quickly target user vulnerabilities with personalized training. The service combines intelligence, automation and measurable outcomes to reduce phishing risk and drive lasting behavior change.
Capabilities include an AI-assisted training builder that automatically delivers personalized reinforcement training based on user behavior and threat exposure. The builder combines performance-based automation with an intelligent assistant that curates targeted content from a library of more than 3,000 challenges to reduce manual effort and accelerate delivery time from 30 minutes to under five.
Scorable content for measurable learning delivers training that includes assessments to evaluate how users learn and retain knowledge to allow organizations to measure learning effectiveness and quickly identify where education is most critical, while enhanced reporting and analytics provides insights into user performance through metadata tagging and National Institute of Standards and Technology Cybersecurity Framework alignment.
The second new release, Triage 1.30, is designed to streamline and accelerate phishing detection and response by combining AI-powered prediction, explainable insights and automation to help organizations detect threats faster and with greater accuracy.
Key features of Triage 1.30 include AI-powered prediction with automated processing with the Cofense Confidence Score that automatically classifies messages across key phishing categories and assigns confidence scores to each threat.
AI is used to provide clear, interpretable insights into how models make classification decisions, giving analysts the rationale behind each prediction.
Triage 1.30 also includes an improved search capability for faster quarantine to enable targeted, automated searches based on specific criteria through the Triage application programming interface. Analysts can efficiently query Continuous Quarantine data, refine detection logic and accelerate remediation with precision and control.
“With these new capabilities, we’re equipping security teams to identify and neutralize phishing threats faster and more accurately than ever before,” explains Rachel Roldan, vice president of product at Cofense. “By combining AI-driven automation with frontline intelligence from over 35 million trained reporters, we’re not only accelerating threat response, we’re enabling organizations to build lasting resilience against the next wave of advanced email threats.”
