I imagine we’ll be seeing more of these types of videos as Windows 7 powered slates start hitting the market full force but for now we have this video found by Redmond Pie on YouTube.
Interestingly the slate was definitely better at some things but I will say I like the iPad virtual keyboard layout better. Do we really need such a honkin’ big keyboard on the slate?
The other thing that is really, and painfully, obvious is that as nice as it might be for Microsoft to have Windows 7 powered slates out there I don’t think that from a ‘consumer’ point of view it’s gonna work. In fact if they think that they are going to be able to go up against the iPad by stuffing a full blown Windows 7 into a slate they could be making a big mistake.
Maybe this is why HP has decided to go with the webOS on its consumer slates?
