He believes that what’s driving innovations in the connected world include Predictive Maintenance, Smart Cities and Smart Homes. And he added that those who refuse to step into the Industrial Internet will risk getting left behind.

Nuance Communications, Inc. announced the beta launch of Nuance Mix, a new tool that would help developers add speech recognition to their apps, mobile devices and even IoT devices. This allows for voice recognition to be naturally a part of the device or app, and not just an add-on feature that may or may not work smoothly with the app or device.

If you’re prone to losing your wallet, Walli — a smart wallet being crowdfunded on Indiegogo — may be the answer to your prayers. It connects to your smartphone’s Bluetooth and reminds you when you have left your wallet behind.
