Connecticut Residence Burglary Caught by Logitech Alarm System
Can imagine your house robbed thrice? Well, this one Connecticut resident, Peter Cooperman, can’t, and he took measures to safeguard his home while he’s away.
Installing a Logitech Alarm HD video security system, he’ll be able to keep an eye on his house from anywhere in the world via the internet. He immediately logged into his iPhone app when he received an alert on his smartphone and caught a criminal in flagrante delicto. This marks as the house’s third robbery issue, but at least he caught the criminal this time.
Ironically, the incident happened in October, labeled as National Crime Prevention Month. Technology is the hero of the day.
Logitech has always been deeply involved in home, consumer electronics, offering a range of products for everyone in the family. The home office is a particular area of interest as telecommuters become more influential, with Logitech and Cisco both making headway in this industry. Logitech is also an early partner of Google TV, having recently released the Harmony remote app for the Revue box.
Logitech may one day have to create virtual home security systems, if Pet Society burglaries on Facebook keep up!
