One of the biggest uses of social media has been philanthropy — studies show brands can raise a tremendous amount of money AND get people involved in worthy causes through Facebook campaigns. The social media software company Context Optional shared its best practices and tips for how brands can get the most out of a charitable partnership in this week’s New Media Minute.
