H-P, Arista Agree to Bundle Data-Center Hardware, Software – Wall Street Journal

Under the partnership agreement, HP supplies computing and storage hardware while Arista kicks in networking hardware and software. Analysts say this is an HP play for the hyper-converged market as well as a backup strategy for ensuring a supply of network hardware in the wake of HP’s sale of 51% of its H3C networking unit in China to Tsinghua Holdings co.
